Introduction and Course Content
Learn to make a personalised Overnight Cloth Bag in just 2 sessions of 3.5 hours each over 2 days midweek or weekend.
This beautiful and versatile bag features zip, straps, lining and pocket. You can choose from a great selection of fabrics at All Sewn Up and specialist materials, including double-ended zips, are included in the course fee.
In this Step-by-Step course you will:
design & plan a box-style bag with zip, straps, and pockets;
learn how to choose suitable fabrics for outside and lining;
apply a double-sided zip;
insert a pocket, and much more.
All students will be supported in the making of the bag, learning any relevant new skills as required, under the supervision and assistance of our qualified sewing tutor.
Entry Requirements
This course is aimed at adult (18+) learners who have some experience of using a sewing machine. This intensive course is not suitable for absolute beginners.

Resources
You will have the use of all equipment in the workroom including: large tables, sewing machines, over-lockers, irons & metal rulers.
Please bring a basic sewing kit (selection of threads, pins, needles, fabric and paper scissors, tape measure, seam ripper, tailor’s chalk), notebook, pen and pencil.
Material Costs
Suitable fabrics and specialist materials such as double-ended zip are included in the course fee. Additional materials such as trims may be purchased for a small charge at All Sewn Up if needed.
