Great news for the Sustainable Fashion-conscious sewer: a new one-day course to learn how to neatly and effectively jazz up and make alterations to your new or vintage garments.
Bring in a few garments that need attention – a new zip, sleeves or hems that need shortening, ribbons or lace to embellish a tired dress – and you will be given directions on how to improve or fix them.
You will do all the sewing so familiarity with a sewing machine and hand sewing is essential – you will acquire or refresh upcycle and mending techniques that will always be useful.
