Katie Young Gerald is a multi-award-winning designer and supplier to British hospitality and heritage brands.
As well as being the founder of Bespoke Textiles, Katie is also the author of the book The Textile Touch on ‘How Five-Star Hospitality and Heritage Brands Create Their Signature Style Through Textiles’.
Katie’s passion is for second hand and vintage-inspired collections and is known for being the voice of Style & Sustainable supply.
Sokha Soong received a Bachelor of Fashion in 2005 and was as Garment Technologist (Quality Controller) for many high street brands. She also worked freelance for a number of years for M&S, River Island, Monsoon, to name a few.
She has also freelanced for various brands like Nicole Farhi, French Connection UK, Oasis, and various small boutiques.

Luciana Pulcini is the founder and owner of LucianaSoul which has been based in London since 2014, officially registered in 2019.
LucianaSoul (the story behind the textiles) is a concept of sustainable consumption and production. Her mission is to reduce textile waste, but also to highlight to the fashion industry – and people in general – new ways of creating a brand using existing resources.
Luciana’s venture began after she observed the huge amount of clothes left on the streets of London. At the time she was homeless and had very little to wear. With her passion and natural talent plus her Italian diploma in tailoring, she developed ideas for upcycling. She also studied online courses with the British Library on building a sustainable fashion business.
In 2016 Luciana was the recipient of the FDC Young Designer Award for ‘the most important alternative to fast fashion’-. She also took part in Catwalks for Disabled Girls (December 2018) at the Old Biscuit Factory, Bermondsey.
In July 2019 Luciana exhibited in Italy with the NGO ‘Andes’ (National Association of Families of People with Intellectual and/or Relational Disabilities).
Debra Webster is a self-taught patchworker and quilter who finally learned to sew after many years as an English teacher in schools and universities and hasn’t stopped since. She enjoys making all types of patchwork, and mostly quilts by hand.
Debra has made quilts for the children’s charity Project Linus, and is currently setting up a social sewing group for Mind in Camden. Her greatest love is the traditional and ancient method of English paper piecing, a lovely way of hand sewing patchwork in exactly the same way it has been done for centuries: a slow, gentle and highly therapeutic process.
In general Debra is a passionate advocate of a relaxed, creative and stress-free approach to patchwork and quilting, in order to make it as accessible to as many people as possible, and to bring as many people together as possible.

Pascaline Lambert trained in Soft Furnishing & Upholstery at Metropolitan University in the Design and Craft department. She was a part-time lecturer in Design, Craft & Textile for a large inner city college until 2007, teaching mainly City & Guilds courses in Textile and Employability Skills.
She is a fully qualified teacher and a registered member of the Institute for Learning (ILF) with over 25 years teaching experience. Pascaline has extensive subject knowledge and has been running her own textile furnishing/curtain making business since 2005.
Pascaline has been involved with the All Sewn Up Training Project since its inception in 1990, and was Project Manager and Soft Furnishing tutor until July 2018.
She returns to All Sewn Up to teach the short course: Make A Bag in 2 Days in the 2019 Summer Term.
Finalist of the 2018 Loewe Craft Prize, Richard McVetis is one of the leading contemporary hand embroidery artists in the UK today. His minimalist work is an endless exploration, not just of form but of the reclamation and potential of process and repetition within stitch.
Richard’s artwork has been celebrated in galleries, art fairs and museums across the world including Iceland, Ukraine, Pakistan, South Korea, UAE and the USA.
Richard studied Embroidery at Manchester School of Art and is a graduate of The Royal College of Art in 2008; he lives and works in London.

Grace Carter-Allen teaches our Clothes Making and Clothes Upcycling classes. She has extensive knowledge of the subject thanks to over 30 years’ experience in the field. Her classes are suitable for complete beginners as well as those wanting to further develop their Clothes Making skills.
Grace gained a diploma in Fashion Craft at Medway College of Design. Her first job was as a Pattern Cutter for the fashion house Wallis. She is also a qualified teacher who has taught Garment Construction in adult education and at local primary schools.
When not teaching at All Sewn Up, Grace works at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital making pressure garments for burns patients. Any spare time is taken up with making and altering clothes on a commercial basis.
